Early Childhood Literacy

In June, I was asked by Shiprock Chapter House President, Dewayne Yazzie to promote an Early Literacy Project that I've been collaborating with the Shiprock Branch and Farmington Public Library on. In the state of New Mexico reading statistics rank our state as 50th. Since the beginning of my year we've had a dream to be able to promote Early Childhood Literacy to children in Chapter Houses’, this was our solution to help Navajo Country... Our Pilot Program will take place this July.
